The court voted to accept the submitted claims and invoices and to reallocate funds from the project contingency to county facilities. The court approved roof repairs across three county-owned buildings at a total contract price of $29,008.24 and authorized up to $6,000 from project contingency for immediate replacement of courtroom flooring following a recent sewer backup.
Commissioners approved the purchase of a 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe for Precinct 3 in the amount of $54,000 under Buy Board contract 724-23 but conditioned the purchase on receipt of 287GMOA grant funds. The court also approved vehicle upfitting for the Tahoe, budgeted at $24,660.99, and the purchase of Motorola mobile radios and accessories at $3,161.52, with motions structured to proceed upon receipt of the specified grant funds.
The court designated authorized signatures for Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery contracts (GLO contract numbers 25141-009F356 and 5141011F357) and approved GrantWorks as the grant administrative contractor for the listed disaster grants.
Several other routine procurement and asset actions passed without extended debate, including purchase approvals for a John Deere tractor for Road & Bridge and administrative contract approvals related to grant management. Where funds were not yet in hand, commissioners approved actions conditioned on grant receipt or directed staff to use contingency funds until reimbursement could be processed.
