Washington County begins using new landfill cell; operators must place 4-foot 'fluff' layer first

Speaker 3 told the board the county received approval to place trash in a newly opened landfill cell and that operations began the previous Thursday. "We received that approval letter last week, so we are placing trash in the new cell as of Thursday last week," Speaker 3 said.
