Board approves $25,000 county match for regional opioid-abatement grant to continue ROPES program

County staff presented a regional opioid-abatement grant application from the Southwest Virginia Workforce Development Board to continue funding the ROPES program, which staff said has assisted more than 300 individuals since 2019 and would expand to include youth impacted by opioid use.
