The Scott County Board of Supervisors on an unanimous voice vote adopted a resolution reaffirming the county's prior affirmation of the right to keep and bear arms. A supervisor read aloud a resolution declaring that "Scott County, Virginia will not exercise any authority granted to it by section 15.2-915 e of the Code of Virginia to regulate or prohibit the otherwise legal purchase, possession, or transfer of firearms or ammunition."
