Chambers County commissioners authorized staff to solicit sealed proposals (RFPs) for construction of a new parks storage building at Whites Park.
John, the parks presenter, said the item "is basically sort of broken out" following the show barn project and that there is sufficient budget planning to proceed with an RFP. Commissioners approved the motion to solicit proposals and directed staff to move forward with the procurement process.
Staff indicated the RFP will be issued as a sealed-proposal procurement and that the budget supports moving ahead to solicit bids.
