Mackenzie Phillips, development and administrative coordinator, asked the board to consider appointing Lance Rupp as one of Finney County’s three representatives on the Holcomb‑Garden City‑Finney County Area Planning Commission. Phillips said the commission is a nine‑member advisory board with members appointed by Garden City, Holcomb, Finney County and an at‑large seat; staff received one letter of interest from Rupp, who previously served two terms and whose prior term expired Dec. 31, 2025.
