During council reports at the Jan. 5 meeting, a council member raised the possibility of placing a conservation easement on Twin Rivers Golf Course, noting the city originally purchased the property to preserve a flood plain and to prevent development. The speaker said that because the purchase premise was preservation, the council should consider a conservation easement and asked staff to schedule the item for a future meeting.
