Commission approves manufactured-home dwelling on C2 parcel near Fairview Manor

Staff said the parcel historically hosted a mobile home and that the proposed home meets county code standards for manufactured housing (multi-section construction and minimum width requirements). The parcel will be served by individual well and wastewater systems consistent with code and the planning division recommended approval with standard conditions.
Applicant Chris Clewein, who said he has experience placing manufactured homes in the area, told the commission the home will be set on the foundation and sold to an owner who will pay pad rent to the park. He affirmed familiarity with recommended conditions and the permitting process.
Commissioners moved and voted to approve CUP25-12; a roll-call vote recorded unanimous approval.
Next steps: the applicant will proceed with building permits and final inspections required by county code.
