Bloomington Redevelopment Commission elects officers, approves 2026 schedule and four resolutions

The Bloomington Redevelopment Commission met at 5:00 p.m. for its first meeting of 2026 and unanimously approved routine business before taking organizational and policy actions.
Commissioners approved the minutes of Dec. 15, 2025, and payroll registers for Dec. 12 and Dec. 24, 2025, by roll call. Commissioner Randy Cassidy moved to approve the minutes; the motion was seconded by Chair C. Scambaluri and passed unanimously.
The commission then re-elected the existing officers for 2026. Each nominee confirmed willingness to serve, and the slate was approved by roll call to serve until successors are appointed.
The commission adopted Resolution 26-01, the 2026 RDC meeting schedule, by unanimous vote.
