Appointments approved included Wayne Dickey to the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Board (term 01/01/2026'12/31/2028) and multiple appointments or reappointments to Emergency Services Districts 1, 2 and 4 (Jim Jones; Carlisle Frasier; Morrissey Day; Lloyd Skasta; Eddie Leroux; Scott Fraley; Ray Thomas), followed by the appointment of Jim James to the Public Defender's Office Oversight Board (term beginning 12/05/2025).
The court approved final plats for Merritt House Subdivision and Fizino Park Subdivision and granted utility permits for Brazos Wi-Fi to bore under roads in Foxtel Estates and Saddlebrook Subdivision. A change order for the Brazos County Expo Complex construction manager-at-risk contract with Spa Glass Construction was also approved; a commissioner requested future inclusion of bid sheets and backup evaluation materials when awarding contracts.
