Vermont House opens second year with new appointees, resignations and routine procedural business

Madam Speaker called the Vermont House to order on Jan. 6 and opened the second year of the biennium, outlining priorities including housing, workforce challenges, flood recovery and health protections. "We have done hard things before and for the greater good of Vermont, we will do them together once again," the presiding officer said.
