The House voted to suspend rules to allow introduction of 23 bills by number only. Clerk-read first readings listed bills H603–H625 and the committees to which each was referred; the motion to suspend rules passed by voice vote.

The presiding officer announced that 23 house bills would be introduced and requested a motion to allow introductions by bill number. The member from Poultney moved to suspend the rules "in order to introduce bills by number only," and the body approved the motion by voice vote. "The ayes do have it and you have suspended rules to introduce bills by number only," the presiding officer declared.
