Jonesboro council approves solid-waste budget and several zoning and code changes
At its Jan. 6 meeting the council accepted the Craighead County Solid Waste Disposal Authority 2026 budget and adopted multiple zoning and code ordinances, including changes to stormwater board membership, rezoning requests, removal of a registration requirement for parked boats/trailers, and an update to towing services. Most items received little public opposition in chamber and passed on voice votes.
