The sponsor said metrics should include facility visits, programming attendance, circulation, internet usage and other indicators beyond simple door counts.
Committee members noted that Martin Luther King and Mitchell libraries would open Sundays in 2026 and asked the director to track usage and report back so policymakers have evidence in advance of future budget decisions. The chair moved adoption and reported no objection; the resolution passed.
