Committee recommends approval of Caldero LLC’s type-20 off‑sale license at 2149 Union Street

The Public Safety and Neighborhood Services Committee on Dec. 11 directed the clerk to prepare a resolution recommending Caldero LLC, doing business as Caldero, receive a Type 20 off‑sale beer and wine license for 2149 Union Street and to forward that recommendation to the full Board.
Officer Brandon Erickson presented the PCN report for Caldero, reporting "0 letters of protest, 0 letters of support," and noting the site is in Plot 518 and in a Census Tract described as high crime and high concentration. Northern Station registered no opposition and ALU recommended approval with conditions similar to prior items, including active monitoring for loitering and litter control.
No members of the public signed up to speak on Item 2. Following the presentation, Chair Supervisor Matt Dorsey moved to direct the clerk to prepare a favorable resolution and the roll call recorded Member Wong, Vice Chair Bridal Mahmood and Chair Dorsey voting aye; the motion passed.
The recommendation and ALU conditions will be transmitted to the full Board for consideration.
