WELLINGTON, Fla. — The Wellington Planning, Zoning and Adjustment Board on Dec. 18 unanimously approved two items that staff and the applicant said simply correct mapping and remove dated, site‑specific conditions placed in a 2005 land‑use ordinance.
Kelly Ferriolo of the planning and zoning division told board members the applications apply to 14833 50th Street and include a development‑order amendment (DOA 2025‑0003‑DOA) to eliminate the site‑specific conditions in Ordinance 2005‑19 and to correct ambiguities in the ordinance’s legal description, and a rezoning petition (REZ 2025‑0004‑REZ) to rezone roughly 49.3 acres so the zoning designation matches the Future Land Use Map designation of Equestrian Commercial Recreation (ECR).
