The Planning Commission voted to continue consideration of the Opleto Library major site plan (Major Site Plan 0656‑2023) to the February 3 Planning Commission meeting after staff said a traffic study completed during the holidays still requires follow‑up work.
Planning Director Don Dooley told the commission the county and town staff are coordinating on outstanding traffic comments and recommended a continuance so the Commission can review a complete study. A motion to continue was made and approved by voice vote.
Staff noted the continuance is intended to ensure the traffic analysis adequately addresses impacts on both town and county roads before the commission renders a substantive decision.
