A TxDOT project manager, Victor Santos, briefed the Willacy County Commissioners Court on Jan. 8 about a planned curve redesign on FM‑90 near FM‑88. Santos said the project has required coordination with the irrigation district and lake authorities, work had not yet begun and, once started, the project was expected to take about six months.
