County board cites data-loss, payroll cleanup and votes to enter closed session
Officials reported a failure of redundancy that led to loss of police video evidence, described changes to payroll/overtime practices and handbook alignment, and the board voted by voice to go into closed session for personnel, litigation and union matters.

Speaker 1 alerted the board to a potential loss of data affecting multiple offices. The assessor's office recovered its data and the circuit clerk recovered records, but Speaker 9 and others said the county lost video evidence that would have been provided by police departments. Speaker 9 said Ross prepared a letter and staff will add redundancies: "We're gonna go redundant, redundant, and triple now," Speaker 1 said.
