The amendment lengthens the period when amplified music is prohibited during the first week of UC Santa Barbara’s spring quarter — from the existing nighttime restriction to a 72‑hour ban from Friday at 12:00 a.m. through Sunday at 11:59 p.m. It also extends enforcement to The Cove on the northwest corner of Stork Road and El Culejo in Goleta.
