Commissioners approved a telecommunications services agreement with AT&T to convert the county’s 911 telecommunications from copper to fiber. Staff told the board this change reduces the monthly bill from roughly $11,000 to about $798, yielding more than $10,000 in monthly savings and approximately $120,000 annually.
