Council approves gas-line relocation and authorizes bids for Cheyenne Road multi-use path
Council approved a $12,736 agreement with Spire Missouri to relocate gas lines that conflict with the Cheyenne Road multi-use path and authorized solicitation of construction bids after federal and state review cleared the project for funding eligibility.

Street Superintendent Jeff Rassau told council final construction-plan review for the Cheyenne Road multi-use path found an existing gas line in conflict with a planned pedestrian bridge footing. To start construction Rassau recommended executing a facility relocation and adjustment agreement with Spire Missouri Inc. to move the line approximately 90 feet at a cost not to exceed $12,736. The council voted to approve the agreement.
