County accepts donations that helped more than 50 families, Job & Family Services says

Jeff Sell of Job & Family Services told the board the county received holiday donations including an anonymous donor who contributed roughly $1,000 in gifts, $3,800 from United Way of Delaware and $15,000 from Liberty Presbyterian Church. "We have a very generous community donating Christmas gifts and other items for those families," Sell said.
Commissioners thanked the donors and staff; the board approved the resolution by voice vote. County clerks will document the accepted donations as part of standard reporting for the department.
