The Buckingham County Board of Supervisors voted to appoint Carter Allen as interim supervisor for District 7 after a closed executive session Monday evening. The board’s motion says Allen will take office immediately upon qualification and will serve until a successor is elected at the special election on Nov. 3, 2026.
