On the consent agenda the city clerk read three financial items: accounts-payable checks numbered 201132902 through 201133271 totaling $1,840,380.88; electronic transfers numbered 566 through 604 totaling $3,102,018.47; and authorization of amendment number 1 to the Small Community Air Service Development Program grant agreement. The council approved the consent agenda by unanimous voice vote. The combined disbursements read into the record totaled $4,942,399.35.
Mayor Benjamin also noted a number of open advisory and commission seats (arts commission, cemetery committee, diversity/equity/inclusion and belonging committee, historic preservation commission) and encouraged residents to apply via the city website; the lodging-tax advisory commission seat filled by Flynn was the only position noted as having a multi-year term that remained occupied.
