The commission approved a tentative parcel map for Staunton Park Development Inc. to split about 12.41 acres at the southwest corner of 6 Mile Canyon Road and Highway 50 in Dayton into two parcels (5.92 and 6.49 acres), subject to 15 conditions and future ADR and road reviews.

The Lyon County Planning Commission approved a tentative parcel map Jan. 13 for Staunton Park Development Inc. to subdivide roughly 12.41 acres at the southwest corner of 6 Mile Canyon Road and Highway 50 in Dayton into two parcels (proposed Parcel B1: 5.92 acres; Parcel B2: 6.49 acres; APM 016-025-38, PLZ 2025-092). Senior planner Lisa Nash told commissioners the site ties to a Chevron conditional-use permit approved last month and that both proposed parcels meet community commercial minimum frontage and lot requirements after conversion to Title 15 zoning standards.
