County outlines progress on lighting, firehouse, sewer and sidewalk projects
Officials reported near-completion of a street-lighting project, positive outcomes for a new firehouse and truck, plans to bid road work, and an 18-month plan to extend sewer to a work camp; county said it approved pursuing a grant for a sidewalk on Lake Grove Road.

Officials gave updates on several public-works projects. Speaker 3 and Speaker 4 said the street-lighting project is nearly finished: lights are installed and contractors are completing final tie-ins. "The lights are up... I think the coop finished today," Speaker 3 said, adding final tie-ins by Kenny Strange remain.
