Traffic enforcement included 28 targeted enforcement sessions over a six‑hour period that produced 15 citations and 31 warnings during that activity; overall traffic enforcement for the period included 135 stops with 31 citations and 136 warnings. Arrests reported included one individual taken on a warrant, one DUI arrest and additional arrests related to theft, fraud and an incident described as unauthorized entry into another person’s vehicle.
The department reported 613 patrol checks, three uninsured driver contacts (transcript contains a correction on counts), and 19 hours of officer training on topics including legal updates and implicit bias. The chief also described community events involving police participation, including Shop with a Cop and Race Across America outreach.
