Following a closed meeting, the Spring ISD Board of Trustees on Jan. 13 voted unanimously to enter a final order terminating the probationary contract of John Braxton, effective immediately, citing that he did not request a hearing within the statutory period. Trustee Winford Adams Jr. moved for the final order and Trustee Natasha McDaniel seconded the motion; the board then voted to authorize the superintendent or designee to notify Mr. Braxton pursuant to Chapter 21 of the Texas Education Code.
