Following the design review, the board covered internal business. Staff said they will send a doodle poll to schedule a board retreat (options discussed included June/August or October/March) and explained a retreat would substitute for a regular meeting. The board discussed outreach and recruitment for open DAB seats; staff reminded members that applicants must be Boulder residents for at least one year and 18 or older. Amelia Harvey and Kalani Pahoa said the application window is closing soon; meeting audio records the deadline as Jan. 25 at midnight. The board asked members to spread the word and consider education/outreach to potential applicants, including faculty or graduate students who meet residency requirements. The meeting adjourned after these items and approval of the December minutes.
