The most consequential items were the indigent defense contracts and the RFQ. The commission approved six separate two-year contracts to reestablish an indigent defense panel; each contract calls for base compensation of $82,000 per year for the contracting attorney. The board moved, seconded and voted "Aye" to approve and authorize the chair to sign the six contracts.
