The Adams County Board approved several routine items including a three-year reappointment to the South Central Library System Board of Trustees, a Town of Rome code amendment and routine claims.
The county clerk read a reappointment for Mary Nelson as Adams County’s representative to the South Central Library System Board of Trustees for a three-year term beginning January 2026 and ending December 2028. Supervisor Edwards moved to approve the appointment, Supervisor Pease seconded, and the motion carried by voice vote.
The board also approved Ordinance 2509, an amendment to the Town of Rome code (chapter 360, section 36032) including maps, on a motion by Supervisor MacLaughlin with a second from Supervisor Samelstad; the chair said the clerk did not have the map displayed so the vote was taken by voice.
The board approved claims, per diem and mileage on a motion by Supervisor Carlson, seconded by Supervisor Hickether. The chair set the next board meeting for February 17 at 06:00.
These items were noncontroversial and approved without extended debate.
