County staff asks planning commission to recommend CIP projects; Feb. 5 submission deadline set
Lancaster County finance staff outlined an expanded role for the planning commission in the annual capital improvement plan: commissioners may propose projects via a form due Feb. 5, staff will vet submissions, the commission will select five projects by March 3, and final rankings will be done April 21.

The CIP is a 10‑year planning tool; adoption of funding for projects occurs later through the county’s annual operating budget ordinance.
