Committee adopts updated Legislative Branch Personnel Rules, adds workforce rule
The Joint Committee on Legislative Administration adopted multiple updates to Legislative Branch Personnel Rules, including a new LBPR No. 7 on workforce and professional development and repeal of LBPRs 20 and 25; HR director Tracy Yee presented the changes and answered questions.

Tracy Yee, identified herself as "the HR director or employee services manager," told the committee that the Legislative Branch Personnel Rules have been updated to align with laws passed during session and to organize related provisions more clearly. "The majority of the changes are because during session, you guys are busy, and you make laws, and then we have to update the rules so that they align with the new laws," Yee said.
