Dallas council adopts revised sidewalk reimbursement program, raises cap to $2,500
The City of Dallas approved a formal sidewalk repair reimbursement policy that raises the maximum reimbursement from $500 to $2,500 (or 50% of project cost) and lowers the bid requirement to a minimum of one bid; council approved the change by voice vote.

The Dallas City Council on Oct. 6 approved a new sidewalk repair reimbursement policy that converts an informal $500 reimbursement into a grant-style program with a maximum award of $2,500 or 50% of a project’s cost, whichever is less.
