MLK Day program planned Jan. 19 at Hope Community Center

She named several scheduled speakers including Pastor Vera Roberts (speaking on 1963), Reverend Wesley Scully (1967), Reverend Ronnie Gatson (1967), Felicia Brown Blakely (1968) and Reverend James Stewart (1968). Moore said performers and refreshments are expected and the program could run about two hours.
The announcement was informational; no commission funding beyond the $250 donation approved at the meeting was specified.
