Trinity County Commissioners Court voted to impose a countywide burn ban after hearing from local fire chiefs about an upsurge in grass fires. Commissioner Speaker 3 said chiefs reported “three in one day,” and recommended adding the item to the agenda. Speaker 3 moved to impose the burn ban; Speaker 6 seconded, and the court approved the order unanimously.
