Trinity County commissioners on the morning agenda discussed entering an interlocal memorandum of understanding with Ventura Ambulance to make the county eligible for a Rural America ambulance grant the staff estimated at between $300,000 and $350,000. Speaker 7, who described the administrative steps, said the agreement is a prerequisite for Ventura to apply and that it would enable the ambulance service to seek funding to upgrade equipment and capacity.
