Glenview — The Board of Trustees completed routine and new-business votes on Aug. 5, approving consent agenda items, two new Class B liquor licenses on first consideration, and a planned-development amendment.
Consent agenda: Deputy Manager Bosley presented consent items that passed on a roll-call vote, including acceptance of an Illinois 9-1-1 consolidation grant for $95,487.48 and approval of a contract with Scientel Solutions LLC for replacement networking hardware at a total price of $91,339.92, a final plat for a Charlie Court subdivision, and the board’s voucher list for Aug. 5, 2025. Trustee Stodie moved approval and Trustee Jones seconded; trustees recorded affirmative roll-call responses and the motion carried.
Liquor licenses (11A): On first consideration the board voted to increase the number of Class B beer-and-wine licenses from 11 to 13 to allow licenses for Nami Sushi and Hibachi (2300 Lehigh Ave., Suite 125) and Dog Park (1839 Tower Drive). Mister Clark said both applicants were not present; Trustee Deboni moved approval, Trustee Sidoti seconded, and the motion carried on voice vote.
Planned development amendment (11B): Staff presented an amendment for 1102 Ironwood Court to enclose two sides of an already-roofed patio and add a deck; the Development Adjustments Commission recommended approval (5–0). Trustee Jones moved approval with a second from Trustee Sodoni and the first-consideration motion carried.
Procedural note: Minutes from the July 15 meeting were approved earlier in the meeting; Trustee Deboni moved and Trustee Bland seconded. The motion carried with recorded abstentions by President Jenny and Trustee Jones.
What’s next: The liquor-license ordinance will return for additional consideration per ordinance procedures; the planned-development amendment will follow the normal ordinance/plan-review process.
