Exeter City Council on July 7 approved several measures affecting infrastructure, events and affordable housing financing.
The council voted to authorize administration to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with Wayne County for construction and maintenance of an approximately 4–4.5-acre Greenway Trail in the city of Inkster, running from Justine Court West to Middlebelt Road and traversing the Inkster Valley Golf Course along the Lower Rouge River as part of Phase 3 of that corridor. The measure was introduced by the clerk and passed by voice vote.
