California and other states have sued and HHS agreed to a temporary enforcement pause for certain states; county staff said they have not yet received final guidance and will monitor developments.
The board accepted the report unanimously. Staff said they will apply for a one'time Office of Head Start supplemental nutrition grant and will bring any award and related requests back to the board.
