County counsel and staff confirmed the item could be continued to a time‑certain date without re‑noticing; the board set the continuance for Oct. 7 at 9:30 a.m. and the motion to continue passed 4‑0.
No substantive changes to the proposed rates were adopted at the Sept. 9 meeting; staff said an updated rate packet and CPI calculations will be included in the board packet for the Oct. 7 hearing.
