He said the developer is paying for the widening and that the added pavement "gave enough width for all 3 of those lanes across."
Following discussion about phasing and remaining constraints, a commissioner moved to "approve ordinance 25‑u amendment to [the] development agreement" and to include parcel 3835 South — shown in the plans as part of phase 2 — to be completed as part of phase 1. The motion was seconded and carried; recorded roll‑call responses show Commissioner Broadhead, Commissioner Moss and Commissioner Thompson voting yes (Thompson added he "will say yes with the stipulation that I still don't love it"). The commission will forward its recommendation and recorded comments to city council.
