Cornish board members approved the prior meeting minutes, moved to approve outstanding bills, and continued a budget workshop focused on fiscal year 2025–26 projections.
An unidentified member moved to approve the minutes and another seconded; the minutes were approved. Later in the meeting members reviewed accounts and line items, discussed revenue assumptions for property and sales tax, and examined variable line items such as garbage charges and road maintenance. Staff member Lauren has transposed last year’s numbers into the new shared spreadsheet to make comparisons easier.
Board members discussed unusually low garbage costs in recent years, anticipated Class C road payments, and debated whether to leave contingency items in the budget. They also agreed to schedule a follow-up technical meeting to review filtration and treatment budget impacts with engineers and treatment suppliers. Members approved the bills by voice vote during the meeting.
