Perry City Council unanimously ratified Resolution 20‑25‑24 on Dec. 22, 2025 to confirm the council’s earlier approval of a police dispatch services agreement after staff discovered a notice discrepancy.
City staff told the council the agreement had been approved previously but that when the agenda was amended the item was updated on the state public notice website and not updated on the Perry City website. To ensure notices and records were correct, the council moved to ratify the earlier action.
Council member Walker moved to ratify Resolution 20‑25‑24 and the motion was seconded and approved by roll call. The council then continued with other business and later voted to enter a closed session to discuss a potential imminent litigation matter.
