During the meeting the committee paused testimony to accept bill introductions. Speaker 13 introduced SR2467 on behalf of the Kansas Coalition of Public Retirees; the resolution would authorize a commission to study cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) for public retirees. The chair stated there were no objections and the bill was introduced.
