The Morrow County Board of Commissioners approved routine business and several appropriations during a regular session that included acceptance of minutes, authorization of bills and targeted funding for county operations.
Commissioners approved the minutes of the July 30, 2025 revenue session and a motion to pay bills numbered 1 through 84. The board also approved several appropriations read during the meeting, including items to support the board of elections, engineer functions and grant-related disbursements. A social services donation transcribed as 52,072 was accepted for social services programming.
On facilities, the board approved a vendor quote to add an inline spare for the community service building's boiler/sump system. Staff explained the spare will reduce service interruptions while pumps are rebuilt; lead times for replacement pumps were described as up to 45 days.
All consent items and appropriations on the agenda were moved, seconded and approved by recorded roll call during the meeting. The clerk recorded affirmative responses from the commissioners present.
What happened next: no additional public hearings or formal challenges were recorded on these items; commissioners moved on to proclamations and a public presentation from a local health center later in the agenda.
