Morrow County commissioners approve routine appropriations, accept airport resignation and appoint replacement

The Morrow County Board of Commissioners conducted routine county business, approving small appropriations, accepting a resignation from the county airport board, and making a related appointment.
The board approved an appropriation of capital fund monies for concrete work at the prosecutor92s office in the amount of $4,030. A motion to appropriate the funds was made and seconded and recorded by roll call.
The board also voted to accept the resignation of Joe Carroll from the Morrow County Airport Board and to appoint William Jackson to the Morrow County Airport Board by recommendation of the airport board chairman. Motions to approve the resignation and appointment were made and seconded and roll calls were recorded.
During the meeting the board opened and approved a public hearing to vacate a portion of Township Road 119 in Franklin Township. Speaker 1 said both property owners were on-site and agreed with trustees' direction; Speaker 1 moved to vacate the road portion "as directed by the trustees." The motion was seconded and affirmative responses were recorded during roll call.
The board also authorized setup of a new fund for the Municipal Court Technology Grant at the auditor92s recommendation; the motion was approved by roll call.
