Transportation Commission approves Complete Streets exception for Rowan at Maple & Ash
The Commission voted unanimously to accept a Complete Streets exception at the Rowan intersection (Maple & Ash) to install a signal and curb extensions that shorten pedestrian crossings; staff said the change will improve safety at this crossing but will create a pinch point that precludes a continuous bike lane at that exact location.
