Commission OKs $35,919 design change to avoid 33 burials found at Legacy Park
After ground-penetrating radar detected 33 burials in the northern portion of Legacy Park, the commission approved Change Order No. 1 to AECOM for $35,919 (contract total $160,919) to redesign the South Columbia multi-use path to avoid disturbing burial locations; staff said design revisions and state erosion-control review are expected to take about 90 days.
